EVM for Artemis^™ Views

Deltek Views Connect streamlines and simplifies data transfer from Artemis CostView into Deltek wInsight, or into any other ANSI X12 839-compliant electronic data interchange (EDI) enabled application. Views Connect also transfers schedule data in an XML format from ProjectViews to the wInsight database for viewing via Deltek Glue Viewer or our web-based schedule viewer. The Views Connect product is a wizard-based tool that directly reads the Artemis Views databases to generate EDI files. The wizard allows the user to generate and save templates that can be reused each period to facilitate a simple and repeatable process. Views Connect also contains a batch function to easily process all projects with a single command.

Deltek Views Connect automatically transfers the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), the Organizational Breakdown Structure (OBS) and related structure data, such as the WBS element name, number, Control Account Manager (CAM) name, earned value type, etc. to Deltek wInsight. Period-based data, such as Budgeted Cost for Work Scheduled (BCWS), Budgeted Cost for Work Performed (BCWP), Actual Cost of Work Performed (ACWP), Budget at Completion (BAC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and time phased Budget/Estimate To Complete (ETC), is also transferred. All performance data can include dollar values, as well as hourly-based performance. Once transferred to wInsight, the data can be analyzed in dollars, hours or equivalent heads. Further, schedule data transferred for each activity includes the baseline schedule, current plan, relationships, duration float and percent complete. This information can be displayed in Deltek Glue Viewer as well as via the web.
