Consulting Services and Integration
I derive all or most of my revenue from consulting services, advising my customers on specific technologies, hardware and/or software implementation services, and business-centric solutions or processes. I may have certain relationships with key vendor partners and may influence the sale of certain products in the course of my daily business.
Value-added Reseller
I sell and support hardware and/or software from a variety of vendors, adding value to these base products by either developing an application or add-on or by creating a total solution for my customer.
Independent Software Vendor (ISV)
I provide an application software product or products that solve a customer's business problem. I may use another vendor's product to build an add-on so that my software can be used to enhance that vendor's software. I work through a network of resellers to sell my software.
Technology
I provide infrastructure technologies such as database, hardware or platform solutions.
