Greg, a CPA, is a Master Instructor with deep expertise in Costpoint. He leads instructor-led classes and webinars while developing custom training solutions for clients. His specialized knowledge includes expertise in explaining the interactions between all of the products in the Deltek product family and a talent for the creation of highly visually training materials.

Penny Smith, Senior Principal Instructor – with Deltek since 2007

Penny has many years of teaching experience in commercial software products, including instruction in three of Deltek’s major product lines. She primarily performs on-site classes and has worked with thousands of clients in US, Canada and England. Penny helped to write and design much of the current Deltek Costpoint Enterprise Reporting curriculum and is a regular speaker/presenter at Deltek Insight.

Julie Farmer, Principal Instructor – with Deltek since 1996

Julie has worked with thousands of clients in US and Canada including many of the top 500 design/architectural firms. She helped to write and design most of the current Deltek Vision curriculum and is a regular speaker/presenter at Deltek Insight.

Susan Shovar, Principal Instructor – with Deltek since 1990

Susan has served in a variety of roles, from QC Analyst to Consultant to Project Manager, and uses her knowledge gained through years of consulting to assist her students in defining the different options available to them during class discussions and meetings held after class.

Marsha Visser, Principal Instructor – with Deltek since 2007

Marsha is a certified Project Management Professional with extensive experience in consulting, training and implementation of project management and Earned Value Management Systems, including Open Plan and Cobra in the US and the UK.

Allen Hibner, Senior Instructor – with Deltek since 2007

A former high school and middle school instructor, Allen worked as a senior consultant for several Value Added Resellers (VARS) of accounting and operational software for 24 years. He has consulted on, supported, implemented and trained end-users on numerous ERP systems for small- to medium-sized businesses.

Marguerite Ormond, Senior Instructor – with Deltek since 2006

Marguerite leverages over 20 years of professional experience in finance, accounting and human resources in her role as Senior Instructor. Prior to joining Deltek University, she held a position as a corporate controller with oversight of the financial and human resource departments. After a transition into the financial software world, she consulted with C-level executives of numerous corporations to identify ways to streamline operations through full utilization of software. Marguerite holds a CPA in the state of New York.
