Now in its 17th year, the NVTC-produced awards program honors individuals in the following categories: Public Company CFO of the Year, Private Company CFO of the Year, Emerging Growth CFO of the Year and Financier of the Year Award, presented to an individual who has contributed to the economic development of the Greater Washington region's technology community. Silver Level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) Certification – Deltek HQ

In 2012, Deltek obtained a Silver LEED certification from the USGBC for its newly renovated HQ building in Herndon, VA. A building must meet all the prerequisites and qualify for a minimum number of points to attain the established project ratings in categories including site selection, development density and community connectivity, water use reduction, and optimized energy performance. Deltek consolidated three offices in November 2010, providing a single office where employees could collaborate and interact with an emphasis on sustainability and employee comfort. The 230,389 square-foot facility located at 2291 Wood Oak Drive in Herndon, VA, was renovated to include sustainable features in the design by HOK, to achieve a Silver Certification under LEED 2009 for Commercial Interiors.

2012 Greater Washington Top 50 Healthiest Employer – Deltek

Deltek has been named one of 50 regional companies to receive the Greater Washington’s Healthiest Employers Award for 2012 by the Washington Business Journal. The ranking of each company within the top 50 list will be revealed Thursday, Sept. 20, and all 50 companies will be profiled in a special supplement of the Washington Business Journal. The newspaper annually selects the top 50 healthiest employers in the Greater Washington area to receive the award, which recognizes companies for their workplace wellness programs and wellness strategies.

2012 Inc. Hire Power Awards – Deltek, Winner

Inc.'s inaugural Hire Power Awards were created to recognize and honor the top 100 companies creating jobs in the United States. The list highlights the top private job creators in an array of industries including, software, engineering, telecom, IT services and financial services. Deltek ranked 53rd overall, second in the software industry and fourth in Virginia.

2012 Silver Inkwell Award for Business Communication Excellence

The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) DC Metro chapter has bestowed its Silver Inkwell award for business communication excellence on Deltek’s Steve McGough and the office move Change Management team. The Silver Inkwell awards are given annually to IABC members who demonstrate uncommon excellence in business communications.  Our award was earned for our extensive headquarters move change management communications, in the category of Internal Communication Plans.

The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) announced June 27, 2012 the winners of the 11th Annual NVTC Hot Ticket Awards, honoring the region’s best and brightest entrepreneurial technology companies.
